Janson was born in Atlanta and raised in the South, where his love for music and the local church began early. He came to faith in high school after a youth camp, and quickly found joy in using his voice to worship the Lord. Janson went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Pensacola Christian College and later received his Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Luther Rice University.
For over 20 years, Janson has led worship and ministered through music, pairing his passion for truth with a heart to shepherd others. He now lives in Streamwood with his wife, Dana, and their two boys, Owen and Ethan. Janson serves full time as a chaplain, supporting employees and teams across the country with spiritual, emotional, and mental care.
Janson currently serves as the Worship & Production Coach at 180, where he uses his experience to teach and train leaders and teams of people to better lead worship and production ministry.
He’s passionate about helping people grow in their walk with the Lord, equipping others to serve faithfully, and encouraging believers to pass on what they’ve learned to the next generation.
